How often do I need to visit the dentist?

It is recommended that you visit the dentist every six months for a cleaning and exam. Regular cleaning appointments keep your teeth cleaner than just brushing and flossing at home, and the exam allows our dental team to catch potential problems early. If you are experiencing gum disease or other problems, your dentist may recommend more frequent visits to treat this condition.

It has been a while since my last dental visit, what should I do?

We understand that sometimes it can be difficult to schedule regular dental appointments. It is never too late to get your oral health back on track, so we recommend scheduling an appointment with our team as soon as possible to treat any potential complications.

How can I whiten my teeth?

A beautiful smile with bright, white teeth can be a huge boost to your confidence. As we age, most people will see some discoloration of their teeth from both surface and internal stains. Our dental office has a number of options available to get a brighter smile, from in-office whitening treatments to dental veneers. Our dental team can help you get the beautiful smile you have always wanted!

Why are my teeth sensitive?

Tooth sensitivity can cause you to feel pain when eating food or drinks that are hot or cold. Sensitivity can be caused by a number of factors including:

  • Gum Recession
  • Grinding your teeth while sleeping
  • Teeth Whitening
  • Fractured or Chipped Teeth

If you are experiencing sensitivity in your teeth, contact our office today and schedule a consultation with our dental professionals.

What is gum disease?

Gum disease, which is also known as periodontal disease, is caused by bacteria invading your gums. As gum disease progresses your gums will appear red and swollen and will bleed easily. Gum disease can also cause bad breath and sensitivity in your teeth.  If gum disease is left untreated it can lead to pain, abscesses, or even tooth loss.  It is important to visit our dental team regularly to catch gum disease before it becomes a more serious issue.
